ABOUT ME

My Background

I'm a PhD candidate in Bioinformatics at  Luddy school of Infromatics, Computing and Engineering in Indiana University, with a strong passion and interest towards precision medicine, understanding and improving human health and well being. I currently research at a human microbiome lab under the supervision of professor Yuzhen Ye. My general dissertation focus is concerned with studying and profiling the human gut bacteria, its diversity and functionality at different levels using various meta-omics data (metagenomics, metatranscriptomics and metaprotemics).
